The Spectrum DVC311 is a fully automated digital video converter
that seeks, finds and selects any incoming video signal and converts
the signal to the higher resolution of componet video. As new digital
electronics are added to a system, many receivers do not have the
capability of converting older analog technology (VCRs) along with
new digital technology (DVDs) (HDTV) to a common digital video
signal. The DVC311 is connected to the video signal out of your
receiver and will automatically convert the signal into the highest
video format available to your display. Now, your VCR, Satellite
Receiver or DVD player can be connected seamlessly. No longer is
there a need for two remotes to switch video inputs while maintain-
ing your current image quality.
