The SES HDMI Switcher DSW 731 is a true
broadcast quality TMDS switcher. This new series of switchers
offers exceptional digital balanced line switching performance
and the ability to switch other HDMI functions never before
accomplished within one monolithic part. Functions such as
HDCP, EDID, DDC Data, CEC and Hot Plug, all of which are
mandatory for true HDMI functionality.
The SES DSW 731 offers the same switching
topography with an extra bonus function known as "Turbo TMDS".
By enabling this function the DSW 731 can
output a greater TMDS output with digital equalization. This
function becomes very useful if a system suffers from poor TMDS
signaling due to cable length. When the "Turbo" is enabled, the
output gets a boost of current and frequency compensation,
countering the losses in the cable.
The DSW 731 comes equipped with front
panel switching along with IR control and RS232 for external
control.
